Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Web Site, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order Now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept cheques preferably drawn on UK Banks in GB£ Sterling. Cheques from outside UK welcome, but will take longer to clear, and a GB£8.00 Bank charge to be added. Please make cheques payable to "Mark 1 Tank".

If you wish to pay by Telegraphic Transfer of funds please order through the Shopping Basket system and we will contact you for further details.

You can now order with a Credit/Debit card securely from this site. The limit for credit card transactions is GB£1000.00

Delivery Schedule
We build the large tanks to order and so delivery may take 6-12 weeks (1/4, 1/6th and 1/8th scale). All other orders (Tank Kits, Tracks, Accessories and T-Shirts) will normally be sent to you within 28 days.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy
We accept the return of ordered items only if they are unopened and in their original condition. If you return goods, as detailed, within 7 days, we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

Defective items:
You can always return items if they are defective. Please note: we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. Please see ‘To return an item’ below for details of how to return defective items to us.

Delivery charges (defective returns):
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the return delivery charges. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

To return a defective item:
To return a defective item, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item packaged securely in its original box with the completed warranty form. Then send the package to Mark 1 Tanks, Returns Section, Easton Manor Farm, Easton, Nr Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 1DG, England. For your protection ensure that you obtain a proof of posting. We do not accept any responsibility for lost items.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. This applies to all our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for purchase when the item has been used.

To cancel this contract, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return of the item as ‘Contract cancellation’. Please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the date the item was delivered to you.
